Top 5 Reasons Why a you need a household CBA for watching sports

We all know how important it is to have a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) in place before starting any kind of negotiation. But did you know that a CBA is also necessary when it comes to watching sports in your own home? That's right, folks! If you want to ensure smooth sailing (or, in this case, viewing) for all parties involved, it's best to put a CBA in place before firing up the ol' television for your favorite players, teams and sports season. Here are the top 5 reasons why:

1. To avoid potential arguments about who's responsible for your kids and pets.
2. To establish ground rules for snacks and drinks. No one wants their view of the big game of their favorite team interrupted, by having to go to the kitchen fridge all the time!
3. To set parameters for acceptable levels of cheering and/or trash-talking. Things can get heated during even the most civil of games, so it's best to be prepared ahead of time.
4. To come up with an emergency plan in case of a blowout (i.e., who gets custody of the remote control?).
5. To have a system in place for dealing with halftime show commercials. Because let's face it, those can be pretty darn annoying.

So there you have it, folks! The next time you're getting ready to watch your favorite team take the field (or court, or ice, or whatever), make sure you take the time to draw up a CBA first. Your future self will thank you for it!
