Sports Watchers Declaration
  1. Term - The SWA Contract shall expire on the Monday after the Superbowl of the last League Year subject to such Contract. All SWA Member contracts are 1 year.
  2. Eligibility - Any SWA member or warden that signs the household eligibility declaration, pays union dues and is subject to this CBA
  3. SWA sports Budget - The minimum annual budget for the SWA watching season ( 1 year term) will be 5% of the total household income.
  4. Rights of the watcher - As a SWA member, the member will receive all benefits of this CBA.
  5. Rights of the warden - As a member of Warden International, wardens will have the right to implement all of this CBA.
  6. Pre-game prep - SWA members reserve the right to allocate time for pre-game preparation.  This could be used for attire, food, technology, research or other.  
  7. Performance Escalator - Points can be multiplied for great errand and to-do list completion percentages and having high monthly grades.  Consecutive high monthly grades will amplify the SWA members points available.
  8. Monthly grade - A monthly grade for the SWA member is given by the warden or the commissioner based on the % on-time completion percentage for errands and to-do lists submitted prior to the deadlines in this CBA.
  9. Physically unable to Work / Watch (PUW) - In situations where the SWA member has booked an ‘event’ and becomes PUW, the booked event will not count towards any aspect of this CBA, PUW could include illness or injury.  The decision on PUW is made solely by the SWA Member.  This includes events started but not finished before halftime.  Events where the SWA member withdraws after halftime are counted as ½ events in the CBA.
  10. Grievances - Grievances by either party, SWA member or Warden, can be filed through the form on the website.
  11. Point system - SWA members and their wardens can accumulate points through errand and to-do list completion OVER AND ABOVE your rights in this CBA.  Points systems are individual to the household and agreed on by both parties at the start of the season, and quarterly throughout for any mutually agreed changes.  
  12. Financial Contribution - All contributions to the SWA members sports budget must come from the member themselves, the % of total household income or outside donors, such as the SWA members inner circle.
  13. Road trips - SWA Members are allowed minimum 2 road trips per season.  Extra road trips can be earned through the household points system.  Road trips are included in the household budget, going over household budget is allowed when earned through the points system.
