SWA Declaration

SWA Declaration

For many professional athletes, they are represented by their players association.  For example NHLPA, NFLPA, MLBPA, NBPA, MLSPA, NLLPA.  Those association represent nearly all athletes in the league.  Without the players, the league can't exist.  So it balances the power a bit in the tug of war on league revenues.  It's one of the reasons why 'collective bargaining' works in sports.

In the game of life there isn't a league.  The league is the life of the common man just trying to watch some sports.  For sports fans, there needs to be an opposite bargaining unit to create the common negotiating points for a Sports Watchers Association.  This is why Warden International was created.  A secondary bargaining unit to oppose the finances, time and other resources outlined in the Sports Watchers Association Collective Bargaining Agreement.  It's all sports fans (that are members) represented within their households.

Why a Declaration?

The SWA uses a declaration for their CBA as a declaration can be one-sided.  Simply by signing the declaration, your household as defined in the definitions, is subject to the Collective Bargaining Agreement. Use the form to populate your declaration.

What to do next?

Once you declare by signing the SWA CBA declaration, post to social media so we know. Use hashtag #SWAdeclaration as a way for us to find you.

Become a member

Becoming a member is the same as paying your union dues in a professional sports union/association.  You will get your certificate to download.  We're working on the ways to do this.

Spread the word

There are probably millions of sports fans out there, alone, thinking their wardens will just let them do nothing and watch sports (all day/weekend).  This is not the case.  These lost soles need us to get them find their way, do their work, get rewarded and watch some sports, uninterrupted.
